It was our honour to have three Chelsea Pensioners as special guests at our Cameron Vale School Remembrance Assembly today.

This year’s competition saw entries from almost 2,000 school children across the city, and we are very proud to announce that two of our pupils won awards! 

At a special ceremony at New City Hall this week, Artist Samson Kambalu and Justine Simons OBE, Deputy Mayor for Culture and the Creative Industries, gave out awards to the winners and runners-up.

Borough Winner - Theodore for his beautiful painting ‘Blast Towards the Future’

Runner-up, 5-7 year olds - Rafael for his amazing technicoloured ‘Clara the Colourful Rainbow’

Year 1&2 teacher Miss Amelia Kenworthy also received an award! She was given the Special Award for Dedicated Teacher for her work with the students on the Fourth Plinth project, inspiring students and helping them their creative their masterpieces.

Join us for a 6-week programme of baby and toddler storytelling and dance!

We are thrilled to announce the start of a 6-week parent and baby storytelling and dance class course that will take place at Cameron Vale School.  

Wednesdays,10:30am - 11:15am starting on 11th May

This class is perfect for babies and toddlers aged 6 months to 2 years, and will be delivered by the amazing Inside out Dance Company, who offer specialist dance and improvisation courses to improve children's mental and physical wellbeing.

Each session will be a different theme - packed with singing and dancing, and will end with a fun movement story or puppet show.

Classes Dates:

• May 11th, 18th, 25th
• June 8th, 15th, 22nd

This class is perfect for babies and toddlers aged 6 months  to 2 years, and will be delivered by Inside out Dance Company who offer specialist dance and improvisation courses to improve children's mental and physical wellbeing. Each session will be packed with singing and dancing, and will end with a fun movement story or puppet show.  

Each session is £12*, and is payable in advance of starting the course in a single payment of £72 (you will receive an invoice on sign-up).

Tuesdays,10:30am - 11:15am at the Cameron Vale School

This class is perfect for babies and toddlers aged 3 months to 2 years, and will be delivered by Children Inspired by Yoga who offer to be bendy, giggly, clever and strong fun!

• Bendy: develops flexibility through yoga
• Giggly: enhances creativity with fun multi-sensory stories & original music
• Clever: aids development with smart links to support the early years curriculum
• Strong: promotes wellbeing & relaxation

Yoga is a skill for life. It helps grow physical strength and balance whilst enhancing focus and concentration. It supports children on their educational journey, promoting creativity whilst benefiting social confidence and physical movement.

Classes Dates:

• May 10th, 17th, 24th
• June 7th, 14th, 21st

This class is perfect for babies and toddlers aged 3 months to 2 years, and will be delivered by the yoga experts from Children inspired by yoga. Children inspired by yoga offers an immersive, multi-sensory yoga programme for babies and children with well-being, child development and fun at the heart of every session.

Each session is £13*, and is payable in advance of starting the course in a single payment of £78 (you will receive an invoice on sign-up).

Our free Stay and Play sessions provide a wonderful opportunity for 2-4 year olds to socialise with other children, and make new friends!

Each session finishes with a fun circle time. Snacks and drinks, and changing facilities are available.

Class 2 have had a fabulous start to the Autumn Term.

Every Monday afternoon they go to Forest School where Miss Emily sets up lots of different activities.

This week they made acorn bracelets and aliens, some children used tools to build little villages with sticks, stones and leaves and lots of bark drawing too!

The children absolutely love having the opportunity to get their hands muddy whilst completing fun activities or just enjoying a swing in the hammock.

What makes Cameron Vale so special is the wonderfully warm community that we are.

After almost two years, Friday 17th September saw us come all together once again, children, parents and teachers enjoying the last of the summer sunshine in the garden of The Hurlginham.

What was so wonderful about this event was being able to have everyone together, in particular our new families which will set the tone for the rest of the academic year where we look forward to many more get together's.

A big thank you to The Hurlingham for holding such a wonderful event for us and making the evening so special.
