French at Cameron Vale 

At Cameron Vale School, French is a core part of our curriculum. With 2.5 hours of French each week, we give pupils the meaningful immersion they need to grow into articulate, curious, and globally minded young people. Pupils gain the exposure, continuity, and cultural understanding needed to make genuine progress.

Our specialist French teacher brings experience from both British and French school systems, enabling us to offer a rich, tailored programme that prepares pupils for senior school, top sets, and scholarship pathways.

Building Strong Foundations

Regular, sustained exposure anchors learning. With 2.5 hours a week, pupils develop:

  • A solid grasp of French grammar and conjugation

  • An understanding of how the language works, not just vocabulary

Our location in central Chelsea places us at the centre of a vibrant French hub. The French Embassy, Consulate, Lycée Charles de Gaulle, and the Institut Français are all on our doorstep.
