Pre-Reception

At Cameron Vale, our Pre-Reception (3+) and Reception classes are together on one site, creating a seamless and enriching Early Years experience for every child.

Bringing these important stages of learning closer together supports a smooth transition into school life, helping children build confidence, independence and a strong sense of belonging from the outset. With greater continuity across the Early Years, children benefit from a cohesive curriculum, familiar faces and a clear progression in their learning and development.

The Chelsea Nursery continues to provide an exceptional start for our youngest learners, from 6 months old, offering a warm and nurturing environment where children develop the foundations for future success. From Pre-Reception onwards, children become part of the Cameron Vale community, enjoying enhanced learning opportunities, access to specialist teaching and a natural pathway into Reception and beyond.

This integrated approach enables us to provide the right balance of support and challenge at every stage, ensuring each child is encouraged to flourish academically, socially and emotionally as they begin their educational journey.

Moving between the Chelsea Nursery & Cameron Vale School 

With less than half a mile between the two sites, and under a 10-minute walk, children experience a natural progression from nursery into Pre-Reception and Reception, ensuring continuity in learning and a smooth transition into school life.
