Butser Farm
Year 3 & 4 headed down to Butser Farm, an archaeological open-air museum. Butser features experimental reconstructions of prehistoric, Romano-British and Anglo-Saxon buildings.
The trip was a great educational day out, brining the past to life with hands on, immersive and practical acclivities with all the children getting involved.
The farm is located in the South Downs National Park, and the reconstructed ancient buildings on the farm made it feel as if the children were truly stepping back in time.
